Finals, Graduation and Work

Finals

With one Final out of the way, the second one comming up at 12:30 today, and two more next week -- I'd say we've reached the end of the semester. I must admit that my scores on these won't be spectacular, but as long as I survive this semester, I'll be happy. In the current state of my grades, I don't think it'll be that hard to survive them. The one I'm worried about is the one today. There are only 3 test for him to grade us on, an exam on a bad day can really be a bad thing. Today, I'm feeling a little nervous about this one, but this shouldn't be terribly hard. Calc II was harder than Calc III, and all Calc III is all just an application of Cacl I stuff to 3 dimentions. It means doing double integrals instead of single ones, and playing with vector arithmatic.

Graduation

Graduation and Order of the Engineer are this weekend. Everyone is acting like this is a big deal, and it is. Unfortunatly, I haven't had enough time to lift my head out of the water and see where I am, because I've been so caught up swimming up stream. Dispite the Graduation being next week, I won't actually graduate until January when I finish my 6 Social Science credits (2 classes). Everyone keeps asking me what I'm going to do when I'm done, and if I have anything lined up in the way of jobs. To be honest, my mind is still working on the test at 12:30. I just finished writing the page of formulas we can bring to the exam, and am writing this to take my mind off it for a little while. See how much it's not working? :p

Anywho, I'm not looking forward to the Graduation Ceremony. I don't want to sit through it. I'm being forced by the lovliest woman in the world, my fiancée . The order I would be excited about, but there is still too much to do. So, the next 3 days will include:

  • Ironing Graduation Robes
  • Hair cut... sometime soon.
  • Order of the Engineer Saturday night
  • Brunch on Sunday morning before Graduation
  • Running arround at the Graduation - 1 ish... Sunday
  • Getting professional pictures at Graduation
  • Graduation - 2 Sunday
Then, after all thats done... More finals next week.

Work
I was planning to work over the month of January with L&S IT, but it doesn't look like I'll have time. I'll be in class all day. That also means I won't have the time to job hunt while companies are open. I can, however, start sending out paper resumes and the like. I still want to get the latest edition of DRL out. Which would be wonderful, because it would work in SATA drives, but that doesn't look like it'll happen. I think the best I can do is leave 2.0 for my successor, and release a 1.5 with debbootstrap and the .deb files for the KISOK image.

Well, another thing I won't update... :)

This is going to be yet another thing I never update. I suppose I might since it is tied into the Google stuff that I do happen to use.
